The children enjoyed another fun-filled afternoon at the Bourne experiencing STEM lessons. In Science they made a universal indicator by boiling red cabbage in water in which they then used to test liquids to see whether they were acid, alkaline or neutral and safe to drink. During the Maths lesson, the children used ratios to mixed squash to the tastiest concentration and in a Technology lesson they created a suspension bridge which they then attempted to cross. A few quotes from the students:

"We love using the bunsen burners - it's fun!"

"Crossing the bridge was awesome!"

"I liked taking part in the STEM project where we get to go to the Bourne Community College and learn about science, harder maths and computing."
